OMG lol I wrote the names wrong...
I said Paul was being harsh and Frontcannon was the one who needed help... Sorry Paul
-
How do you make pixel images?
Srsly, just read the thread.
Paul there's no need to be harsh.
Frontcannon, though Paul might be a little harsh, he's right when he says that the thread should explain the concept of pixel art. Simply putting it, you draw every single pixel in the image with the pencil tool, with different colors. There are also people that use the rectangle tool at 1px and such, but mainly you should only use the pencil tool.

You mean the screenshot or the Naruto image?

Can't you upload the .gif as a sig?
You can always try the animated version of the .png format that also supports animation.
Go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/APNG
I think that Internet Explorer doesn't support .apng but FireFox does.

[...]Paint.NET is image and photo manipulation software designed to be used on computers that run Windows XP or 2000.
Paint.NET is jointly developed at Washington State University with additional help from Microsoft[...]

@MaR-V-iN you should put (on this forum) the English version should come first and then the German one. The link to the download should also be here it shouldn't be a redirect to another (German) forum. The plugin seems great though, nice job.
@KJslove1994 that's not needed but you should so you can get proper personal support, as for the plugin it self MaR-V-iN as the link for the forum where it's posted, although it should be posted here too.

No that dll has the four plugins.

I have searched and searched and cannot find the updated version. I really want to install the brush plug in but after weeding through all these pages and reading the various problems it looks to me like before I install the brushes I need to update. Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you so kindly...

Well I don't do animation but anyways I've always liked gif...
HD-PHOTO well... You said it David
EDIT: Adding to what David said, HD Photo is not directly related to High-Definition Images/Video.

ganjaslave that's not the entire crash log, please post it all so that we can help

To display my own work.
E.g. as my sig.
I recommend not to do that as there are much better file types for image sharing.
I do recommend, either .jpg, or .png, or (but only for animation) .gif. There is also a png that supports animation but don't use that one.
As Rick Brewster said:
Un-sticky'd. I'm not convinced anyone actually uses HD Photo (Paint.NET or otherwise). -
FishEda are you uploading your file for someone else to work on it? or is it to display your own work?

"Can't" is such a strong word. No, the issue is just that Paint.NET's rendering engine needs to be rewritten to support this, as it was essentially written for a different era of hardware. The upcoming v3.5 contains the first step toward this.
Hurray ! I knew the engine was being rewritten didn't know it was that. Have a or two

GPU accelerated effects are quite fast. Try this one out, it uses one of the built-in effects in WPF. With my GeForce GTX 260 Core 216, it's very fluid while dragging the slider around. The Gaussian Blur in Paint.NET, which obviously uses the CPU, is nowhere near as fast.
.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is required.
Oi! That's amazing the speed of the rendering is awesome. Why can't Paint.NET benefit from such advancement? It would improve rendering time to warp speed

Is this plugin going to have any updates? or is coming out of BETA?
-
Hey, this plugin looks really sweet, although I cannot find the custom brushes folder where you're supposed to put it.
I'm running Paint.NET 3.36 on Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
Where should it go?
Thanks a lot!
You will find your Custom brushes folder in the following directory "Documents\Paint.NET User Files\Custom Brushes\"
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=23095 then view this topic

Sorry guys--I almost had the brushes working and my PDN crashed again. I started drawing a vine and as soon as I let go of the brush, it crashed I also emailed the crashlog.
endless log
Update to the new version of the plugin the one you have, 5.1.1, has a known issue with pdn 3.36. Just download the 5.1.2 version.
-
No luck. After reinstalling, "PdnLib.dll" is still missing.
Hm... no idea, report to troubleshooting.
-
I think the current name is just fine.
Yes. after some considerations I too agree with this
