hey there people!
I've been trying to get a good looking, realistic-as-possible digital camouflage pattern, and for a lack of availability on the net, I went ahead and made my own. I would need some input as to which patterns came out best, critisism, anything!
Click on the pictures to get High Res 1000 x 1000 px PNG (around 1mb average)
Any feedback is welcome!

Welcome to my humble fruitiful hangout, where I will try to keep you all updated on the lastest fruitwear & fashion!
All images are built ENTIRELY FROM SCRATH USING PDN unless specified
As it builds, the collection will be divided in the following manner:
Pineapple 1st Generation-> pixelated, stock-full low quality images that represent my very debut at Paint.NET. A few might still remember them...
Pineapple 2nd Generation-> more recent images, my totally mind-blowing awesomely incredible talent was starting to show...
Pineapple 3rd Generation-> the current generation, features a totally revamped Pineapple 3.0 Reloaded. Enjoy!
Asylium & Others-> images linked to my other nicknames.
Misc-> photo manipulation, images for other people, etc.

1st Gen ~May 2007
A classic This is the original signature that inspired the infamous quote:
"Ah, i love it when huge pineapples try to take over the world, it makes me sentimental :')"2nd Gen ~middle of 2008
The Pineyleon is a nocturnal aquatic animal that has the ability to do the following:
if ( $wall_texture == "shiny" ) { change_blendmode "darken"; }
Another attempt at a Pine Kong, however never completed.
Life is not easy in the supermarkets...
cool shady piney signature - however dropped because unreadable
was an attempt to copy Merdynn's awesome avatar, unfortunately i messed up the perspectives and saved it as a png
3rd Gen ~since 2009
Looked too much like PONEY rather than PINEY...
Two models of pineapples. All from scratch, of course!
A giant picture i started a while ago, although i'm not sure i'll ever finish it...
DUM DUM DUM DUM YAH TEH PINEY D.J.
A pineapple in the JTF.
My newest artwork as of april/07/09, ENTIRELY IN PDN, except for the screen which is an actual screenshot of my WINAMP. For those of you wondering, it's Medeski, Martin & Wood - Combustication album that's playing
Original Work was done in 2000x1777, then cropped and resized to 1024x1280, and now is a nice wallpaper..

hey LFC just to say your LIVE signatures are very nice, and even if i'm not a fan of those shiny pinky signatures i must say the purple one looks very good ^^

first highlight the selection you want to fill (or select nothing for the whole layer to be filled), then run the plugin, click "browse" and select the picture you want to fill with. Effects are usually better with a seamless texture.

okay, thanks for explaining, and what about those filmprojectors, like in the cinemas (although it's not very used anymore but anyways... ) or cameras, are all of those images vectors? that would be surprising...
http://www.bombsite.com/images/attachme ... 1_body.jpg
granted, they might just be pixelated but since we're sitting far from the image.... mmh...

Sorry i'd been absent for the last few days, it's nice to see there's some enthusiasm, hopefully someone would be up to code the plugin? *hint hint*

heyalls!
well i've been thinking about this for a while now, how come movies, pictures and others can be enlarged loselessly so easily using a projector? For all i know (i'm no expert) they aren't vectors, so i was wondering if it was possible to replicate this to enlarge digital pictures without any quality loss.
I know for example my scanner will often scan a piece of paper and then save it much larger than it was in real life, and then i can even print it and i get to have a larger version just like that (although i never tried to scan the digital picture over and over...).
Anyways, just throwing ideas like that, tell me what you think!

hello all!
hopefully this doesn't already exist, i searched a lot but couldn't find anything to suit my needs
basicly i'd like to have a "negative zoom blur". Instead of having a blur from the center to the corners, a zoom from corners to the center to create a "projector effect"... well hopefully you understood what i meant...
classic zoom blur (deluxe):
thank you!

Yes, Myrddin, I believe my school has done that too, because I have tried numerous times with not result. However, I have been able to run things such as Pivot on the computer, which also uses a .exe... I have no idea what's happening!
Anyway, I remember that I had already talked about it earlier, and someone said he could do it easely... if this person is still alive, I would like it a lot if "it" could help me!
And ty for welcoming me back! I don't know if I'm gonna be able to stick arround like I used to, but I'll try!

Hey!
This is Piney, I know it's been a long time but when my modem broke out I wasn't able to follow the answers on the board and eventually gave up... thought I have been visiting from time to time to download the new plugins.
Hmm, I remember having talked about this already, but the thread was cleaned up and I can't find it anymore.
What I need is a portable version of Paint.NET. I downloaded one off googles' but it didn't work... said I didn't have adequate priviledge to blah blah blah... Anyway, it would be for school, and this is what it needs to have:
-Work without admin priviledge
-No installation required
-Can be put on a USB drive
-Works about anywhere
If any of you could provide me with something as wonderful as this, it would be VERY useful, and I think Rick should put even put it on the main download page!
Thx a lot in advance,
PineappleQc

Paint.NET is a downloadable application that must be installed before it can be used. It cannot be run online.
There is a program called Fauxto which is completely online, if you'd like to check it out.
If you're looking to use Paint.NET on a computer where you don't have rights to install software, you can use a stand-alone version of the EXE taken from a computer that has one installed. The only downside is thumbnails for PDN files won't be available, but the program will function normally. If that's what you wish, I can provide a ZIP you can download and extract.
By the way, please try a more descriptive topic title next time.
Cheers!
I do. I've been trying to do that on my school's computer, but I dont have any rights over there. How do I do it?

And it's not like you're the one who started userbar neither ;-)

Select the region, Control+C, Control+V, and drag it. Easy as that.
Tell me only one thing I'm not going to achieve on Paint.NET that MS Paint does?
-
I love the rainbow one. How did you do it?

Here, Oma, I managed to get the lines all black. It was a pretty bad case of "dirty paper", and I had to use the Film plugin to do the work. It's thus a little bit distorted. I kept the edges pretty raw, so you can maybe add a feathering to it.
Hope it helps you!

Ohhhh! PLEASE JERBET!!

Who would want to hack a free game? Still, WET is one of the most hacked games in the world.
This is for saying, even though we may think people are intelligent, most people are so lazy sending a PM can seem difficult for them.
I think the best would be to act just like with young children. Make something interactive to get them interested.

do you mean like lens flare?
