  1. hey mate, I don't post here quite often anymore, but I just had to say that I really love your palm tree one image, and would really enjoy a quick explanation of how you managed those... circles... stamps...? well that cool effect over the image anyways...

    see you!

  2. hey there people!

I've been trying to get a good looking, realistic-as-possible digital camouflage pattern, and for a lack of availability on the net, I went ahead and made my own. I would need some input as to which patterns came out best, critisism, anything!

Click on the pictures to get High Res 1000 x 1000 px PNG (around 1mb average)

A classic :) This is the original signature that inspired the infamous quote:

"Ah, i love it when huge pineapples try to take over the world, it makes me sentimental :')"

Original Work was done in 2000x1777, then cropped and resized to 1024x1280, and now is a nice wallpaper..

  3. heyalls!

well i've been thinking about this for a while now, how come movies, pictures and others can be enlarged loselessly so easily using a projector? For all i know (i'm no expert) they aren't vectors, so i was wondering if it was possible to replicate this to enlarge digital pictures without any quality loss.

I know for example my scanner will often scan a piece of paper and then save it much larger than it was in real life, and then i can even print it and i get to have a larger version just like that (although i never tried to scan the digital picture over and over...).

Anyways, just throwing ideas like that, tell me what you think!

  4. hello all!

hopefully this doesn't already exist, i searched a lot but couldn't find anything to suit my needs :)

basicly i'd like to have a "negative zoom blur". Instead of having a blur from the center to the corners, a zoom from corners to the center to create a "projector effect"... well hopefully you understood what i meant...

    classic zoom blur (deluxe):

    thank you!

  5. Yes, Myrddin, I believe my school has done that too, because I have tried numerous times with not result. However, I have been able to run things such as Pivot on the computer, which also uses a .exe... I have no idea what's happening!

Anyway, I remember that I had already talked about it earlier, and someone said he could do it easely... if this person is still alive, I would like it a lot if "it" could help me!

And ty for welcoming me back! I don't know if I'm gonna be able to stick arround like I used to, but I'll try!

  6. Hey!

This is Piney, I know it's been a long time but when my modem broke out I wasn't able to follow the answers on the board and eventually gave up... thought I have been visiting from time to time to download the new plugins.

Hmm, I remember having talked about this already, but the thread was cleaned up and I can't find it anymore.

What I need is a portable version of Paint.NET. I downloaded one off googles' but it didn't work... said I didn't have adequate priviledge to blah blah blah... :P Anyway, it would be for school, and this is what it needs to have:

    -Work without admin priviledge

    -No installation required

-Can be put on a USB drive

    -Works about anywhere

If any of you could provide me with something as wonderful as this, it would be VERY useful, and I think Rick should put even put it on the main download page!

    Thx a lot in advance,

    PineappleQc

  7. Paint.NET is a downloadable application that must be installed before it can be used. It cannot be run online.

There is a program called Fauxto which is completely online, if you'd like to check it out.

If you're looking to use Paint.NET on a computer where you don't have rights to install software, you can use a stand-alone version of the EXE taken from a computer that has one installed. The only downside is thumbnails for PDN files won't be available, but the program will function normally. If that's what you wish, I can provide a ZIP you can download and extract.

By the way, please try a more descriptive topic title next time.

    Cheers!

I do. I've been trying to do that on my school's computer, but I dont have any rights over there. How do I do it?
