Excellent! Just like the "out of bounds" contest on Worth1000.
May I make two suggestions?
1. The shape you describe is a lot easier to make if you create a filled square on a new layer and then use Layers > Rotate/Zoom to move it to the desired angle. That way you can ensure that it will look angled correctly, and not crooked. (Yours looks fine, but I foresee problems with other people...)
2. Feather. A lot. Every layer. It makes things look a lot cleaner and more natural.
My attempt on this is coming soon...
Anyway, I LOVE the tut! Great work.
You were correct about problems with creating the shape David. Could you suggest the levels or amounts we should use in Rotate/Zoom? I am having a problem with this step and am stumped thus far. :?

Yeh, I know, I kept editing my post with new images and forgot to change 3 to 4. Anyway, how about some comments on the images?
They look great, clever ideas

I created this first one, and then experimented with the second, psychedelic one

usually, you can create multiple layers and paste the pic over and over in different spots until you fill the screen
then you merge them all together and do a motion blur until its blended nicely.
then put your pic on top of it
it usually works
Ok, sounds good, is there a tut for something like that? I really need something to walk me through step by step. I find this whole process of learning this sometimes complicated as it is a lot to take in, but it is also becoming a lot of fun, and I really like PDN.
Thanks for responding, I appreciate it.

Hello all,
Recently I have been adding pictures and/or backgrounds to poems that I write, but this was simple because I didn't edit the pics or create anything that I have added them to, I simply added text to the pic.
Since then, I have been wanting to create my own backgrounds because sometimes they require something specific, and I find that I really need to create just the kind of pic, or background I need.
Right now, I am working on adding something to a poem about Harley Davidson. I found a pic of a bike I want, and used paint.net to cut the bike out of the pic and this turned out great.
Now, I am stuck because I am not sure how to create the rest of this picture. This is the first one I am attempting to do myself, and I know I don't want just a plain background, I think just the bike isn't enough with the text, but well, I just don't have enough experience or knowledge in graphics programs and at this point I could really use some pointers or suggestions, with a tut included if possible. :?
I have included 2 of these poems that I have completed so that you can get an idea what I am doing.
Does any one have any ideas or suggestions for me so that I can continue? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for reading, sorry such a long post.

I read the info in the help section, and followed the directions, but still, I don't get how to use this tool. Could some one enlighten me as to how to use it please? Step by step if you can.
I am very new to photo editing and/or graphics programs and at times it does get complicated. Thanks everyone

Thank you everybody, you've been so helpful
I'll give it a shot, but I know I'll be back with a ton of questions...
I have so much to learn...

Ok, scratch that previous post, I found it in English

:? I agree, I wish it was in English, I am a newbie and have a hard time following it. It looks like a fantastic plug in though

I welcome everyone's opinion, so please feel free to comment, and if you see any mistakes, let me know. (I need all the help I can get lol)
