  1. Oh! Will you stop being amazing already!? We get the point! :P

I love the multi-stage reflection in the glass, It really gives the glass of the orb a good feel of translucency. Well done, good sir!

I agree, he has to stop that. :D Its bad enough that us little people have to watch CMD, Madjik, Boltbait, Jake, and now you to :P

Gee, thanks guys. I wasn't expecting to get compliments like these. I'll try to stop but in all actuality I'm still learning PDN, (first downloaded it a little over a month ago). I'll try to mellow it down.

    What is that?!?

I don't know, it started out as a curved line through the rect to polar effect. The background started with the barcode plugin. Just turned out pretty cool I thought. :D

    Thank you everyone.

  2. One thing to remember though is that eyes are moist. Your specular highlight should be sharp and well defined. The blurred highlight they have right now gives them instead a soft matte feel.

Oh yeah, how could I forget that (as I put some eye drops in my eyes cause they're dried out from a night of work in a dusty warehouse.) That's one thing that was bothering me, especially with the green ones. Thanks, I shall give it another go.

  3. Ok, been working on this the past two nights. I think I'm done... :D

Dude that's sweet! Can you post a tutorial?

Thank you very much to everybody for all the great compliments. It's very much appreciated. :D

I am very pleased how this last one (I've titled it 'Volcanic') turned out and can also say that it was completely created with Paint.NET. Didn't use any photos and I can't draw to save my life. That said, 'Volcanic' was created by just manipulating the tools and effects of Paint.NET (actually, about 80% of it is using the clouds effect).

I can try putting together a tutorial, but really I just used some of the things that I learned in some of the other tutorials already posted. I'd actually be scared to see a tutorial for this, it took me maybe a total of 8 hours from start to finish and a tutorial would be quite massive. I probably try recreating it using fewer steps and base a tutorial off of that. The best advice that I could give is to let your imagination do most of the work.

    Thanks again.
