Here's what I came up with:
I did this real quick so if you took some time I'm sure it would come out looking really nice.
-
@Aron: She's my g/f
@natjo1986: Looks good but wheres his annoying little buddy?
@user24: You should try and reproduce the wing so that the whole thing will be pdn. Good job so far.
-
Make the canvas bigger then when your finished making your button you can reduce the size of the canvas.
-
Ditto, also a way to find the exact center of the image would be extremely helpfull.
-
-
That heart is really cool looking, good job!
-
Just a heads up, this topic might be closed due to the title. You should read through the rules real quick
As for your question:
Lasso then mess around with the clone stamp and maybe a bit of gaussion (sp?) blur and blending modes.
-
the clone stamp thing works pretty good
-
I've made a couple of bussiness cards with pdn before:
But these are just examples that were never printed, if you want to make one theres a couple of specifications that it needs to meet for place like Kinkos to print em up
Here's a layout I found:
-
Take a pic of your valentine and mess around with it (in a good way). Maybe make it look like a cartoon or an oil painting, something along those lines
-
I got a quick question
Would it be possible to add a feature that allowed us to create our own background fills?
-
Hey Jackie, I've made a couple of skins and the like so I can try and help you but you need to be more specific on what you want to make. Post a couple of examples of what you want your clock and media buttons to look like and I'll try an come up with a quick tut
-
Couple things i just finished:
-
You mean stuff like this:
Then the way that I learned how to do these was looking at all the tuts around the web. Almost all of them are going to be for photoshop but you still get the basic idea for how its done .
Here are a couple of links I found:
And the best link for findin anything on the web:
Hope this helped and if your having any troubles you can always just ask for help, good luck.

thats pretty cool, i'm guessing you just added the render of the phoenix but if you made it than holy bloody potato thats awsome. The only thing i would suggest is that you lower the amount of glow around the text. Good job

I would have to say that the easiest way is to just name the layer as you make them. works fine for me
-
take your pic, add a white border, rotate it, then add a drop shadow. Nice and easy
-
im not completly happy with it atm but maybe when its finished I'll switch em out.
Oh and btw its "dimension" not "dimention"

Nice wp Jezulkim!
I was messin around and came up with this but then got stuck, I want to add something but I'm not sure what. Maybe some one could help me out
Since I got stuck I made a sig version real quick:
-
Here's how i do it:
~Make a copy of the layer with the pic and hit "ctrl=shift=G"
~Move that layer behind the colored image
~Then start erasing everything on the colored layer that you want to be black and white.
-
yea sure, go for it man. Are you in a band or something?
-
heres a quick photo manip. i just finished:
-
If you have a digi. cam. take a pic of them with a single color b.g. and them have them edit that. Maybe tell them to make themselves look like there fav. game/movie character, some kind of animal, etc.
You could also have them edit pics of there fellow class mates but we all know how high school students are, lol.

lmfao! Nice ava. korteck haha.
