I've made an inquiry about bending text/images here... http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1006. Although SI helped me with the perspective aspect, I still would like to bend and morph images and text. This topic has been discussed in this forum before and I havn't found a way to do it as of yet. I'm not sure if this feature has been requested before or not. Either way, I am throwing it into the hat.....Request Submitted.

How about the ability to bend and morph text/images?

After Dan was so kind to share his awesomeness with us all... I decided to contribute as well.
OK, this is a revised version of the first background I made with Paint.NET 2.6 Final.
It is very minimalist. That's how i like my desktops... dark and clean.
Full Size (1152 x 864) image is here!
Here is another version...

Just as Dan said, feel free to share your own creations!

Look under "Updates" and see if you have "Automatically check periodically" checked. If so, uncheck it and see if you still have the same problem.
I'm not sure why the installer tries to connect. It only tried to connect a single time when I first installed 2.6 Cr2. Other than that, it hasn't tried to connect to the internet anymore.
Also, you can check the program controls in your firewall to see if you are or are not allowing Paint.NET access to the internet.
Good luck with that!

Right there under my nose. I would have never known to click on that grid under Roll/Rotate in the Rotate/Zoom window. One down and one to go! Greatly appreciated SI.

Is there a way to bend images and/or text? Say I have a text and I want to bend it in a "U" (horseshoe) or I have a text that I want to gradually get larger as it reaches the end. Is this posible in Paint.Net 2.6? Thank you in advance.
I think I'll post up something...

Thanks Dan, I'm gonna have to agree with you on the the first background. Although I didn't think that bottom bar was visible enough for anybody to catch it. That second background was a failed attempt at creating a glass bar with an image in it. To me it looks like the image is just sitting atop a grey background. I went back in and tried to make the bar look glassy and I came out with this...

I don't think I'm quite there yet with the glass effect. What do you think? BTW, Nice job on the new sig bar!
ShimmeryDaze, Nice work! I have a friend who loves that sort of stuff so I sent an email to her with a link to your website. She's gonna be thrilled!
