Also if you click on your desktop, 'remove focus from the program' the title bar changes to white, not getting a snip of that though. I don't see mine as a bug.

Hi everyone!
My paint.net always crashes, what do you mean, what is the cause?
I have widows 7 home version, and paint net 4.0.17Do you have a crash log? Click gear icon upper right corner of the program next to the '?mark', then click Diagnostics, then click 'Open crash log folder', someone here is sure to help if you're having a problem. My paint.net is 4.0.19

I doubt the game had malware it was a reputable steam game but hey you never know.
Nothing's stopping me from running the update I can do it fully and everything is fine until I restart my computer, allowing the changes to take place. Then after log in there's nothing but a black screen and my cursor. It does the exact same thing updating from windows mode. One thing I did forget to mention however, after running one of the diagnostics checks on windows as the issue is occurring I get an error about a SrtTrail.txt file not working. I can't recall so i'll have to do it again and try taking a picture.
I have kind of the same issue, Windows when updating hangs at 30% every time but only on restart. I can't force a restart from the menu choices but I can shutdown and then restart. Machine and all programs are fine otherwise.
Windows 10 Home 1703 15063.674. Was thinking bad sector but am hoping on what toe_head2001 said "Maybe the big update tomorrow (Windows 10 1710 / Fall Creator Update) will fix it."
Here is some of my file

From the SVG 1.1 (Second Edition) – 16 August 2011, Spec. I don't know where we are now
1.1 About SVG
This specification defines the features and syntax for Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG).
SVG is a language for describing two-dimensional graphics in XML [XML10]. SVG allows for three types of graphic objects: vector graphic shapes (e.g., paths consisting of straight lines and curves), images and text. Graphical objects can be grouped, styled, transformed and composited into previously rendered objects. The feature set includes nested transformations, clipping paths, alpha masks, filter effects and template objects

Yes

Bob , can the saved svg files be opened with note pad, and do they have a height & width attribute listed?
You may be able to resize from there. Then do whatever you have to do.

I'm having no problems with the newest paint.net and the newer Windows10 update.

Hmm... seems I have one blocked dill in the new Effects folder.

Thanks Pixie, a tip worth remembering, until I go out and buy batteries for the keyboard I'm stuck with the on screen board.

Thanks for those who helped me. Well at least, tried.
I still need help. :((
Emy, I was having issues not related to yours, what I did was, went to add & remove programs, removed the program, then deleted the folder (paint.net) in Program files, reinstalled Paint.Net from the web site as per the the forum guidelines. My installer asked if I wanted to allow this program to make changes, agreed, Paint.net installed but the agree box was still up so I clicked no, I'm not having any problems now but I have to get around to reinstalling all the plugins. I'm on the Anniversary edition of Windows 10
Wish you luck and hope to see some of your work here.

This question may have no bearing on your problem,
do you have "D" drive ?
-
No advise at all, he took the time to register here with a complaint.
-
why are you using this particular 3rd party download site? is there anything added in the install that is going to make me have to wipe my drive?
your site does nothing to alleviate these fears

Darned if I know.
I'd follow up on that last post.
So far I've seen something about Windows Update which I don't have a link to,
and enabling hidden fonts in 7
http://www.emreakkas.com/windows-tips/how-to-enable-hidden-fonts-in-windows-7
All very time consuming and frustrating.
That's a good luck from me, maybe someone else here can pick up,
but Windows answers may be your best bet.
