Hello, I know I'm new, but I've poured over the site to try and find any plugins and suggestions that would increase the workflow of making tilesets in Paintdotnet. A good addition would be horizontal and vertical tiling, but that doesn't seem to be within the realm of what's already available. In my current workflow, its a pain because I use another application (Aesprite) to make tiles that connect in a meaningful way before saving them and opening them in Paintdotnet to correct coloring & add finishing touches. The best example of tiling is already in this post: from a person asking for the same thing. Dynamic Draw would be a good fix if it didn't open in a new tab, making layers inaccessible. (Here's a link to that anyways) The best tool I've been able to acquire was Zip Archive, which helps by saving all layers simultaneously. (lifesaver, really) Obviously, there's a simple compatibility issue between the two, but it doesn't seem remediable either because I read somewhere that its difficult to make what I'm asking for native to the regular canvas. My question is simple: Is it possible? Are there any better alternatives or suggestions? This isn't even half of what I have to do to make tilesets for my coworkers, so if there's a way to cut out my middleman (Aesprite) and lessen the time I spend flicking through tabs on my computer, I'd love to see it.
