I know this was mentioned about 10+ years ago, but has there been any progression with a square erase/paintbrush tool, or the ability to rotate the "Rectangle Select"?

I used to have the Curve feature before I downloaded the most recent version from the MS store. The file extension is in the right place according to the instructions, but I don't see the option under my Effects tab. Where would it be placed?
