So what does that AE tut have to do with PDN? Yes it is possible to do the rays animation in PDN. Here is something similar using a pinwheel instead.....

It's easy enough to make your own and you can make it as curvy as you'd like........

Yeah, I posted the above screen shot in Win10. By default win 10 doesn't have a "Run" link in the start menu. I use Classic Shell however and it provides a "Run" link in the start menu just like older versions of windows. A search for regedit.exe will yield the same results.

Zanga's shape works fine here too. This is one of my biggest shapes (used all 99 paths), yet it still is only 5 kb.

Can someone list directions as to how I can delete the file from my registry? And in advance thanks guys, the help means a lot.
I just tried dragging the color pallet off the PDN screen and it did. I didn't even know about that. I then deleted the reg-key that toehead wrote about and that did restore it, so that is an option if you can't find your color pallet.
Go to "Start" > "Run" and type: regedit (then hit enter). Then navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\paint.net\Window/Colors/Bounds" select that key and hit delete. Restart PDN.

Wait a minute, this shape wasn't created with ShapeMaker. It uses a different format that ShapeMaker can't load. How did you make this shape?

Healing brush is just a variation on the clone stamp, it won't help here. Not much can be done short of re-shooting with a good clean lens and make sure not to shoot into sun. Inspect your lens very carefully, it may have fungus on the inside elements.
At best you can make the shots a little more pleasant by adjusting colors and contrast. I like BoltBait's Combined Adjustments plugin. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/32048-boltbaits-plugin-pack-for-pdn-v406-updated-august-9-2015/

Looks to me that you have a virus un-related to PDN.
Time to re-format and re-install windows, unless you have a clean image saved prior to your infection..............

Yes, the Laplacian Pyramid Filter has a tendency to revile detail lost to human eyes. Hope your friend is OK and all is well............

I agree this can be a PIA. I find myself using Ctrl+Z way too often. If you look at my Video Tut I posted recently, you'll see how often I have to waste clicks....
If this is a feature that can be disabled, please consider it.

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\image\shell\edit\command
Yes that works fine. I like my "SendTo" shortcuts better though. I have a few program shortcuts in my SendTo link that I use for various needs. To each their own however......
One problem I noticed it doesn't work with .psd files. You can however use the SendTo command with .psd files to PDN.

I have a shortcut to PDN in my Right-Click "SendTo" menu command. This way I just right-click on any image and send it to PDN for editing.

Yes, I made everything 100% in PDN, but used a different program to do the animation of the parts. It could all be done in PDN, but I don't want to spend the time it would take. The animation s/w I used is called Aviutl and it is also free, though not suited for the beginner. It makes it a lot easier to animate all the parts.
This is just a support entry and I don't want it admitted in the voting poll.

I haven't tried it, but I wonder if you can install it on a removable thumbdrive?
There are ways to make programs portable, but I don't know enough about that or if can be done with PDN.....

Pixey, I think this is a very cool theme. Very mechanical, just the way I like it. I modified my original submission and will probably add things as I think of them.

This is very similar to the texture I made for my baseball map a few years ago. I don't remember how I did it however, but I did it in PDN for sure.....
