Hi guys, I need to make an image as background with some features of transparency as it seems to be with layer or something, often we see an image of nature, and another image on it, but we can see both images, How to do this? I use paint.net the latest version, but no any additional plugings kindly advise with simple steps how to do this? thank you so much in advance,

Hi guys,, First of all wishing you a happy new year 2016, I have an image with multi dimensions surfaces, some inclined and declined, but the edge is not that clean sharp one, I want to corp it in the edge of each surface separately, Also, I wanted to inform you that I have the latest version of Paint.Net, but no any additional plug-ins tools, Kindly advise if any solutions, or to recommend me to install additional plugins to do this, your soonest feedback will be highly appreciated !! Hi Pratyush, Let me make is simple, let's say I have 2 parallel line in one image, and I need to creat a design that has 4 parallel line, for this purpose, I set the background of this targeted image to be transparent, then I have to take 2 copies of the same image and merge them together by moving the parallel lines to be close to each other, so I created a new canvas frame, then inserted one image, and selected to 2nd copy, once I start to move the parallel lines it starts to hid the first one, i am sure the image is with transparent background,, supposed not be everything clear on the 2nd layer and only the parallet lines to be appeared, isn't it? why to be like?? so confused really!

Hello, I am using Paint.Net for a while and familiar with the using of some basic tools, as for how to make a transparent background, I was trying to make an image (attached) to be transparent background in order to put 2 of them in paralell, to be 4 curved lines instead of the current 2 lines, I used "Magic wand" and selected 0% tolerence, but whenever I try to insert the 2 images in the same canvas and move the lines to be closer, the edge of the image makes the first one disappeared, same as not having a transparent background, it's really so amzing how to be like this? is there any solution for this? any soonest feedback will be highly appreciated, Best regards,

Yes, what: toe_head2001 provided in the link is exactly what I need to do, I downloaded the folder, unzipped it, then opened Paint.Net folder in my system, and just copied the plugin file named: RadiusFillCorners.cs, then closed paint.net, and restarted again, but did not see any new plugin.. or where I have to copy/past this tool? There are 4 folders, [Effects], [FileTypes], [Resources], [staging], and a long list of other PaintDotNet tools, I pasted the folder named: RadiusFillCorners among these folders and tools, should move it to inside any of the folders? or just the tool wiithout the the folder? Any helpful feedback will be highly appreciated, Kindest regards.

Well, appreciate your feedback, currently I have some images square shape, I need to insert them into a file, But, I need some of them to be rounded square, some others I need them to be rounded shape, this is an urgent issue to finish some pending work, just how to crop the image corners to be rounded instead of the current square sharp angles, as how to crop the image to be a rounded insteard of a square shape ...that's simply what I need for this current task, For sure I do appreciate the recommendation to take some tutorials and myself familiar with the it, However, many thanks for the feedbacks, very much appreciated,

Hello @ Pixey .... first of all, many thanks for the reply, i'm still a beginner use of Paint.Net, could you please explain to me stp by step? example: afer loaded the targeted image in PDN tray, where to click next? e.g: click Layers > next > next .. so that I can follow the steps in practical way, --- Also, in case any additional tools to be downloded and installed to implement this action, bcoz I just installed this default version without any additional tools, and how to add if any plug-ins, many thanks in advance for the help, Regards

I followed what Cc4FuzzyHuggles provided on the other page of the forum, but I couldn't see the "four different kinks" even tried more than a time in uploading, then went to ImageShak.us , after registered noticed the service is paid, so I dropped it away, it seems so complicated matter for just to get an image uploaded while I can do this in other forums easily, they provide an icon to upload or "attach" under the text box, easy, simple and practical, attaching a pict could save lot of times and explanations etc.. unfortunately, was not convenient to get it done !

I downloaded the plugins for Effects from this forum Paint.net, I followed every single step as mentioned in the forum, unlocked ever DLL file, eventually, no any tool appeared in the Effects list, only 2 icons appeared in the end of the list: (Flip Horizontal) (Flip Vertical) clicked several time, restarted, still the same, I have attached a file (screen shot) to make it cleared to understand the issue, Kindly advise if any solution to this ..
