While I was able to get 4.0.9 installed OK, the performance optimization crashed. I am using Windows 7 x64. This is more for a possible bug as I think Paint.Net is working otherwise.
I got a couple error messages each of which appeared twice.
One is in the attached image, the other was a Com surrogate message which I wasn't quite sure how to capture the entire error.
I also saw this in the event viewer during that time, but I'm not positive it has to do with what I saw or not. I was not doing anything else at the time, though.
