  1. Hey, Excellent update. Thanks. Just another post to ask along the same liunes of the brushes system. Any thoughts of adding a blending styles window into any upcoming version as adding that would allow me to ditch photoshop. Just make sure if possible to allow the import of photoshop blending styles! Thanks Regards, Neil
  2. So is this sort of function in Paint.NET, yes it's nice that it's in other apps but being in PDN would be 100 times better even as just a plugin. Any thoughts. Neil
  3. Thats it, Where abouts is that? and can i import the layer styles from photoshop to make sure they are exactly the same? If you can then that would be absolutley fantastic! Regards, Neil
  4. Just a quick question here. I know photoshop has the ability to do blending styles and stuff by using the fx button in the layers window thingy and wondered if Paint.NET would have that abilty soon and if so could you use blending styles exported from Photoshop in Paint.net as I ahve a style I use for text headings on my website whcih was made in photoshop but prefer to use paint.net for graphics but that is the only thing stopping me at the time being. I couldn;t search for this as I didn;t know the proper search term or name for it. Thanks Regards, Neil
  5. It still seems to be making the shadow glow at the top not be a shadow! Any other suggestions? Thanks Neil
  6. I am using the latest version with the latest version of the drop shadow effect. As you can see in the first image i posted at that link the shadow is not uniform. It looks just about ok on the lighter blue but is more like a glow than a shadow on the darker blue. The image the other person has responded with looks much better as it's definatley more of a uniform shadow but I can;t seem to figure out how that can be accomplished in paint.net
  7. Hello, I am trying to create a shadow image for my website and have asked for help at sitepoint.com but thought as I am trying to create the image using paint.net, I would post it here as well. I hope some of you would be able to assist me in this issue: http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthr ... ost3777727 I appreciate your time and help. Regards, Neil
  8. Hello, I have this image: I would like to know how I can make it 100% black and white so that the only two colours in the graphic are black and white. I also want to know if there is anyway of making it's resolution higher. I wish to use it as a effect in the background of a webpage therefore it needs to be smooth and high quality but still black and white Thanks Neil
  9. Nah, I think you got the wrong idea. I'm just after atiling image with multple lines of "Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas" but at a slight angle. You sometimes see the design used on wrapping paper!
  10. I'm trying to make a seamless repaeting image with diagonal Merry Christmas accross it but cannot seem to figure it out. Can anyne help? Example: It does HAVE to be repeatable and seamless.
  11. That looks excellent. Where can I download the feather plugin and what parts should I feather?
  12. Yeh, I know, I kept editing my post with new images and forgot to change 3 to 4. Anyway, how about some comments on the images?
  13. Here are my Seventy Six attempts. Please let me know what you think of them. Thanks Neil
