Niels Boar
I've been using Paint.NET since this summer. It worked fine as of December. I tried to open the application today for the first time in a month and received the following error message: Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.050727\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded. I've had several automatic Windows updates recently. Has a new service pack messed up something?
Niels Boar
The newest version of Paint.NET would not install for the same reason.

Niels Boar
Try repairing the .NET Framework. How exactly do I do that? I looked at a download link below for Microsoft, but I'm not sure which .NET Framework version to download.
pyrochild
Start Control Panel Add or Remove Programs (Wait for the list to populate - might take a minute) Find "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0" in the list, click on it, then click the Change button. (If Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 or 3.5 are in the list, you should do the following steps to the higher ones instead) wait.. wait... wait a little bit more... Choose the Repair radio button, hit Next. Follow the yellow brick road. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!
