hsl
Install is not possible. When I install I see in C:\Users\HS\AppData\Local\Temp a map PdnSetup, only for a few seconds I see the extracted files. Then the map is empty. Sarkut
hsl, Have you checked the registry keys cited in this post? ============================================ Please check to be sure that that registry key's SP value is set to 1, and the sub-directory SP value is set to 1, then reboot your computer and try to install Paint.NET again. Sarkut
hsl, Please confirm whether you restarted your computer after changing the registry, and before trying to install PdN again. ================================== Please post any relevant information here, in this thread. In another thread, you wrote: computer >> manage >> disk management. I don't see my HD's ( C & D ). Only my CDdrive ( E ) and DVDdrive ( F ) are visible. Maybe you should run chkdsk, too. Try the command prompt method if your HDs don't show when you click the Computer shortcut. http://www.w7forums.com/use-chkdsk-check-disk-t448.html

Sarkut
hsl, Your NET Framework may need to be repaired. Because the NET Framework up to 3.5 SP1 is included in the Windows 7 OS, I believe that using sfc /scannow is the correct way to repair the NET Framework. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/15 ... ecker.html
