ItalianIdiot
I was working on this map in paint.net for a little fun project, but my pc was running through a couple issues so I had to restart (was not able to save my progress) And when i rebooted my pc the file was gone even though I swear I saved the files days prior. Is there any way i can recover this file?
Tactilis
There is nothing that you can do to recover the paint.net edits that you were in the process of making. paint.net does not have a means of auto-saving as you edit or restoring from 'recovery' files. If you are working on a complex/time-consuming/important project, then the advice is to manually save your progress periodically. 22 minutes ago, ItalianIdiot said: my pc was running through a couple issues so I had to restart (was not able to save my progress) And when i rebooted my pc the file was gone even though I swear I saved the files days prior. Did you accidentally move them or the folder they were in? Have you tried a search of the entire file system using File Explorer from C:\ downwards? Have you checked the Recycle Bin?
