tomba
Hi all, I use paint.net since a couple of weeks now, but I have one big issue with it. Often I have to make a thumbnail of a large image (about 10 or more megapixel). I have noted that when I resize the image (with shift-T) then the resulting image is seriously lacking anti-aliasing. I have attached 2 of these thumbs, one created by photoshop, the other by paint.net Can this be resolved or can I change a setting to enable anti-aliasing during resizing? Thank you, Steven
I Like Pi
It looks like you're using the nearest neighbor resizing algorithm. Make sure "Resampling" is set to "Best Quality" in the Resize dialog.
tomba
Hi, thank you for your input. I tried to do a resize, and then on "highest quality" it is indeed excellent. However, my problem is that I usually first make a small image, then past my large image into it and resize it with shift+T . I would like to make this resize method also use my choice in the resize dialog as you mention. Thanks
