  1. IT worked! Thankyou very much. I will try to remember this tool in the future...☺️
  2. I started with a side view of a PC->the side panel. I made some edits and would like now to match the corners of the object in the top layer to match with the corners in the bottom layer. There is a logo in the center of the yellow layer in the pic that I want to change to the scale change to achieve a proper 3D view affect. Sorry if this information is vague, but does anyone know how I can line up these corners while hp logo adjusts with the change? I suppose I need some vector tools, but I only would have Inkscape to work with. So far I haven't been able to find a way to do this in Paint.net or Inkscape....
  3. I have an icon and it's a circle with the outer areas deleted (transparent). I need to select only the image area (the circle) and copy it so I can add it with a paste as a layer over another image. Anyone have any idea how I might go about doing this?
  4. Hello: New and just started using Paint.NET about a month ago. I am loving every minute of the features in Paint.NET. Big thanks to everyone who has contributed... I am seeking to use a picture of a PC folder as a template shape for icons. I would like to drop the picture on top of the template and have everything of the picture that isn't over the folder disappear. Put another way, if I add a 100x100 pic over the picture of the folder, which is 100x100 and consists only of the folder on a 100% transparent background, how can I end up with a 100x100 icon that is the shape of the folder and contains the portion of the added image that was over the folder? Is this possible or is there a plug-in for Paint.NET that makes this possible?
