Using Paint.NETv3.5.10 (Final Release build 3.510.4297.28964) I have a saved .jpg and I wolud like to copy some text from it but I can't copy "just" the text. Help! Thanks

The default extension is .png. Can I cange the default to .jpg? Thanks

When i print a .jpg file in paint.net I got a page and the area within the margins was colored black. I tried printing it with a different paint program and had no troubles. It printed correctly. So i thought I had a screwed up version of paint.net and deleted it. I reinstalled it and I am sill getting the black pages. Help! & thanks
