Trying simply to get going wit paint.NET - If I draw several lines on a page everything seems OK. If I want to delete one of them I grab the rectangle select tool, draw a rectangle around the line and I end up with a blue box. Then I cannot go from there. For instance if I press the delete key on my keyboard a checkerboard pattern shows up. I also noted that there was no dotted line around the drawn figure (in this case a straight line). I know this should be simple but trying to unlearn Micrografix Draw is most likely my issue.
