4. Go back to "text base" and run the "median" plugin at the highest radius setting you can while keeping every part of the text visible (I use 2 radius)

as you can see, it does not recognize the holes in the letters. he went back and used illipse since he only had a capital "B" to do.

OK. I see I have a "Illipse Select" and a "Rectangle Select" but what do I do if I need to select and cut custom shapes?

I'm attaching a sample of what I'm trying to do. I need to cut out the centers of the letters "a", "d", and "e".
