  1. Hello! Oh, hey now. Thats a good idea, blur it at 1.0. then overlay it at 128 to allow 50% of the original colors to blend back in. You can see it still looses some of its contrast pixel to pixel, but If I do anything ... thats what Im gonna do. Clever idea. --- Update --- As it turned out, that did the trick. Well, not that exactly, but once you got me thinking of layering multiple edits on top of each other, I found something that worked. Thanks again Sarkut! MeVII
  2. Hello! I am making a PC-Game that uses 2D PNG Character Sprites. I am using a Gaussian blur at 0.4 or 0.5 to soften the image just a feather. I believe Gaussian blurs almost the same as an antialiasing effect, compareing all the information around a point to blend them together. Im not sure what True Blur is doing, but its creating a different effect where the colors are all being washed out slightly. So, if anyone could make or tweak a Gaussian Blur to operate in tenths, again, Id be very grateful. Thanks! MeVII P.S. How do you make hidden/collapsible sections of a post using this forums settings? So I can "click here to expand" pictures and etc? I cant find it.
  3. Hello! Thanks Sarkut! I took a look at True Blur. It does indeed blur by 10ths, but its process creates a different effect than a Gaussian blur. Im heading out for a moment here, but when I get back Ill post some pics of exactly what Im looking for, and what Im doing. Thanks again, thats a powerful blur function, and Ill probably use it for something else. MeVII
  4. Hello! Ive used PhotoImpact 10 for years and years, but slowly PaintNet has overwhelmed it. However, there is one feature that PhotoImpact had, that I am in desperate need of at the moment that I cant locate in the PaintNet plugins. I need a Gaussian Blur that does increments of tenths. Currently PN and the plugins Ive looked at only increment in whole numbers. Just in case I am not being clear, I mean the "x" in the following -> 1.x If Ive overlooked this please point me to the correct plugin. Otherwise, if someone could make or tweak a plugin to do such ... they would make my 100hr project a 1 hr project, and I would be most grateful. Thanks! MeVII
