    if i upgrade to windows 7 64 bit with 4megs of ram... will i be ok editing pdn files approx 126,000 x42,000 pixels?? should i get 8megs???

    i currently have a 5 year old XP with 3gigs of ram and 128megs of video ram... i cant open large (126,000 x42,000 pixel) page on pdn ... upgrading to a 1gig video card ok???.... do i need to upgrade to 64 bit 7?
