So, it would be a good thing to be able to resize layers in order to make that feature useful. In Fireworks, if you create a Text Layer, the layer dimensions varies with the text entered by the user. Thank you very much for the quick response! Have a good day! Charles

Hi folks, I just started working with Paint.NET, which is awesome. I used Adobe Fireworks for years at home, and now I use Paint.NET at work as my employer don't want to spend money on Adobe products ($$$$). I'm used to handle layers pretty fast by simply clicking on the layer when putting my mouse over it (Adobe Fireworks, see screenshot below). Ì'm talking about the blue borders surrounding the layer. Every time you mouse finds a layer, the layers gets highlighted so you can click it and move it instantly. It makes life much easier and faster. Is there a plugin or a way to do it in Paint.NET rather than having to select the layer manually in the Layers window and then be able to alter it? Regards Charles
