Still didn't work, disk was normal. I gave up and just switched out the labtops. Seems to be working now.

Tried that, even inside the folder the icon is messed up. Only time it appears normally is in a shortcut on the desktop, or when i open the uninstall window or the properties window. If i click on the messed up icon and choose properties it appears correctly, dunno why when it's in the start menu the icon's screwed up.

So I've re-installed Paint.net, latest version, about 15 times now. My computer is less than 24 hours old so I doubt it's a virus. For some reason, the icon just WILL NOT APPEAR. It shows up on the desktop shortcut, but not in the start menu or when running it. Here's a screenshot. I'm running 7 home prem 64bit. Is this normal or is something wrong??? Is there a way to fix it? It's bugging me to no end.
