That's not exactly what I was going for, but it does help a little. I'm thinking I won't be able to do exactly what I wanted to, which is something similar to this, with a little wider end.
However, I could probably find a way to do something similar. Thanks for the help

I've been making this image, and was wondering how I could possibly get the gradient to fade with distance. As in, the gradient gets smaller and smaller as it gets further out into the water. It's simply unrealistic looking

Thanks david! That's exactly the effect I was looking for. It gets a bit grainy at the top, but I'll find a way to fix that
I'll be sure to post a pic once I get it looking how I want it to.
