thanks goonfella - i just tried it out but get an error - contents of 'pdncrash.log' below. not sure how it's supposed to work though - i went to Effects > Tools > Editable Text... - and that's when paint.net crashes i assume the "..." after 'Editable Text' means that a dialog box comes up - is that correct? not sure if i installed it correctly - the download from the posting had dll's for the various tools in the Effects folder and something in the Filetypes folder - to install, i closed paint.net - then just copied the files to the Effects and Filestypes folder in ...\programfiles\paint.net - then opened paint.net any idea of the problem? or should i just email the log to crashlog... as it says? thank you Josh ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This text file was created because Paint.NET crashed.
