Hello, this may be a ridiculous question however, I have been reading many of the tutorials. As I have been working with my photos and learning the process of Paint.net there have been a few areas where it says I need to go to Effects/objects/feather for example. My program does not have any area that has Objects listed nor feathering. I went to work on whitening of teeth or eyes just to get a feel for what I can do and I was unable to proceed to the next step due to the inability to get to "objects"/ Is there an upgrade I need for the program?

Hi, I have a newborn daughter and I am trying to edit her birth announcement. I have a photo I took of her in a pink tutu. I want to make the photo black and white but keep the tutu pink. Can someone explain to me how to do this? thank you so much in advance.
