BINGO!!! I created a Folder "My Pictures" and it works! My old 3.3.6 worked anywhere but I think I can deal with this work around. Thanks Sarkut!!

When I upgraded recently I lost one of the most useful aspects of PDN. When one clicks on the "file" "open" sequence what appears is the "List" option. My old PDN showed the "thumbnail" option automatically. Now one must get to "thumbnail" view manually. I have tried every tactic I know to get that functionally on 3.5.1 but cannot. I was just about to go back to an older version just for that functionality when I thought I should asked the PDN community for help first. Thanks
