    Thanks for your reply, but that tip does not help. What i want to have in the end is that the colour of my choice (let's assume: red) is the default colour for any tool (Pencil/Rectangle/etc.) that i use right from the start of the paint.net program. For example, when i start paint.net, i want to be able to paint a red line without touching the "Colors tool" previously.
