.Net Framework Initialization Error?

My Paint.NET worked fine before, now when I try to start it I get the error message "Please set registry key HKLM/Software/Microsoft/.NETFramework/InstallRoot to point to the .NET Framework install location " :?: :?: :?: Any ideas? Thanks -
