Interesting post, indeed However, wouldn't be nice and polite if the developer says: "No, it can't be done" ?

No word of advice? Can it be done in registry, is that feature somewhere, it will never be... Anyone?

Hello to all! I just discovered this useful little application and I'm using it web doing web graphics, it's much more convenient for fast work than Photoshop. I wonder why Paint.NET can't remember file format of last saved file? It's very annoying to have png format selected for every new picture. Otherwise, a fantastic piece of software :-) Stjepan
