[my pdn keeps freezing and hangs]

Has anyone read my post. I need some help or suggestions, please.

I cannot use pdn in its present shape.

Hi,

Just recently started...pdn keeps freezing and hangs.

No matter what task I am doing.

Uninstalled and re-installed several times...still no go.

Would be better if it crashed...then at least I would have a log file.

Any ideas

P.S. Net framework seems fine...hard drive ok too.

Going through the forum , I noticed this reference.....

Don't know if it has any significance to to what you are looking for.

Get rid of the file "PaintDotNetEffects.dll" from the Effects folder.

(I sure wish I knew which plugin was causing this to appear in the Effects folder. )

WooHoo!!! You hit the nail on the head. Removed "PaintDotNetEffects.dll", and now all

my plugins are showing. 8)

I know I got pyros here but it wasn't in that.

Can you show us a screenshot of your effects folder of Paint.NET?

Have read 33 pages in this topic and have followed all the advice on

installing plugins. Have done everything correctly and have read these

instructions too.

The only difference I get under properties is there is no allow or block.

So, pray tell, why don't my plugins show up under effects or adjustments.

I have the latest Paint.net version 3.36
