Hi, Just recently started...pdn keeps freezing and hangs. No matter what task I am doing. Uninstalled and re-installed several times...still no go. Would be better if it crashed...then at least I would have a log file. Any ideas Carl P.S. Net framework seems fine...hard drive ok too.

I wonder if it was in an earlier version. Going through the forum , I noticed this reference..... Vandermotten.PaintDotNetEffects.dll viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2023&start=210 About half way down the page. Don't know if it has any significance to to what you are looking for.

WooHoo!!! You hit the nail on the head. Removed "PaintDotNetEffects.dll", and now all my plugins are showing. 8) You're a champion. Well done. :wink: Carl P.S. Now to try to remember where that plugin came from. I know I got pyros here but it wasn't in that.

Hi, Have read 33 pages in this topic and have followed all the advice on installing plugins. Have done everything correctly and have read these instructions too. http://boltbait.googlepages.com The only difference I get under properties is there is no allow or block. So, pray tell, why don't my plugins show up under effects or adjustments. I have the latest Paint.net version 3.36 Carl
