    I already have Curves+ but thanks for the advice to get it. So, to clarify, curves is a more advanced way to manipulate channels?

    I am trying to apply a technique/tutorial for background (specifically, hair) removing using photoshop and it involves "channels". I have only been only using pdn for about 5 months and i don't understand if curves is the equivalent to channels and if so, how to use it. Any help or advice is appreciated =) you can view tutorial here:
