  1. So if you edit an, say, 16 bit image it will be saved as an 24 bit RGB? - i.e. the programme uses the last 8 bits of the 32-bit standard to store non-colour-related information that isn't saved with the image.

  3. Hi, I was wondering if any of you know which colour depths the programme supports. As far as I can see, it doesn't say anywhere, but judging from the colour selection interface it would seem that it only supports RGB. Is the bit depth 24 bits by default? Is it possible to make images with other colour depths as well, e.g. 16 bits? Does the programme support CMYK? Best regards, Leon
