  1. Well I happen to use FireFox. (Who in the world wouldn't at this point? lol)

Still, Png may have higher quality but it'll probably make the file size hard for people with slower connections. I don't want people taking forever to load a page just because I have a cool sig. (I tend to use a lot of frames by the way.)

Finally got it working, windows 7 has the ability to edit file extensions off by default. Plus I already had the plug-in pack, I just didn't realize I had to put the file in the "File Types" folder.

    Thanks once again. :)

  2. Kinda hard to put an actual name on it but. I searched around a bit and didn't find anything.

Is there a plug-in or program or something that can take apart an animated .gif file and save the individual frames as separate files or as layers in a .pdn file? If no such thing exists then consider this a plug-in request. :P

  3. I just moved to a new PC and this thread was absolutely awesome. It made tracking down those obscure plug-ins that I use all too often so easy. Sure I could've copied the files over, but many new versions have come out and it's kinda hard to keep track of them all. :)

    Thanks dude.

  4. Pretty good tutorial...

    My outcome:

Only thing I can find wrong with it is you called the pokemon "kabutops", it's actually an "abra".

(So I'm a nerd, sue me.)

Oh and TopHATslash, don't forget that imitation is sincerest form of flattery. :D

  5. They really look nice :D . Well... exept the red one. I wouldnt want my desktop to be so white  .

I really want to know how you made these.

All of that was made in paint.net, I used dents for the smoke wisps.

Most of that was just a lot of smudging.

You can play around with color flip/rotate to get the color you prefer, but I didn't want to post a dozen images. :D

    Also, I really like this!

  6. Oh yes, I love the sepia ones.

I think that effect works better with the squares than with circles. (looks better to me anyway.)

Although I'm not a huge fan of vertical sigs, I think those ones wouldn't look as good if they were done horizontally.

  7. Very nice, colorful too.

Blooper sig, (you know, the Squid like thing from Mario? :D )

This, I like the sig. But I hate those squid. :D

You're very good at colorful images, so how about trying to do a few with very little color. (Maybe sepia tone...)

  8. I like those, excellent job on the first cout out (if you did actually cut it out)

I wish i could see this last one better, seems the link is broken... From what I can see it looks good as well.

Good job overall, things are looking well, keep it up!

I didn't cut that out, it was pre-rendered, sorry.

And the link should be fixed now.

    Thanks for the comments!

  9. What does the community think of this idea:

A canvas-based plugin (a la Smudge, Splatter, Custom Brushes) that would apply any of Paint.NET's blend modes as brushes?

This would take care of the obvious Dodge, Burn, Lighten, Darken, and Glow; and also have some potentially interesting results with things like Difference, Negation, Screen, and XOR.

I was seriously about to ask you about making something like that!

    Yes! That's an awesome idea.

    *NEGRUMIR STAMP OF APPROVAL*

    :D

  10. Okay, I'm sorry in advance if this has been asked before.

(I checked the first few pages, and I didn't want to read 60+ pages of who knows what.)

Anyway, is there a way to change the opacity of the brush while you're using it?

If you just make a transparent brush, it overlaps and becomes non-transparent really quickly.

Also, It would be nice if you had a quick reference guide or something telling exactly what all the option do. :D

    Thanks,

    Neg.
