    I have gone back and now have a little better idea of the steps required in using layers and keeping up with which layer i am working in and what to do. I appreciate your help. Trail and error and nice people like you help. Thanks!

    I am obviously new to Paint.net. When I add layers with any blending selections other than normal. The printer sees a blank page. As long as I use normal as a blending obtions the printer sees the entire image. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Geoff
