    THank You. You put me on the right path, although I had to go at it slightly different. I could only open file in an Internet Explorer, then I had the option to email picture to myself. Then, at that point I could "save as" - how I wanted it. Thank you again!

    Why can't I open a file (created and saved) in Paint.net? When I go to "Recent Documents" (or Open Files) I can see the thumbnail of the File, but when I click to Open it - it says "cannot open this type of File."
