  1. Im a big fan of doing the work myself it seems though that I've hit a block and I need to ask a few questions. (Im pretty darn good with MS Paint.. and am working with this program as its kinda new to me still) so here are 2 image below and then on to the questions. Qs On Image one the dragon (beast) in the ring (and the knotwork) coloration changes is that just the blending tool being used ? Ive tried blending colors and I'm just horrible at it...I'm going to read some more tuts and practice but I wanted to be sure it was just a blending technique being used. On Image 2 the gal looks...um for lack of a better word "Cartoonish" is there a tutorial available I can read and learn how to do something like that with an existing image? Image 1 Image 2 Any leads to the right direction would be appreciated ! thanks again, JC
  2. Im working on a supplement for a game and Im trying to get something along the lines of the picture below. Obviously not the exact same thing but something very similar (in regards to the metal looking bindings) Ive scrubbed through a few tuts and Ive done some work myself on the matter I just cant seem to nail it though and I was hoping some one might be able to point me in the right direction. thanks again, JC
  3. Curmudgeon has it spot on what I was looking for. my response was a bit slow... Im a defense contractor... so my schedule is horrible
  4. Im working on a project that has a steel plate design and I tried using the gem tutorial all the ones from about 25 pages back to current and then reducing the size.. but nothing really comes out appropriate...Im trying to make a hexagonal bolt head that would screw down onto a steel plate.. anyone have a good way to handle this ? its going on a logo for a website. thanks again, JC
