  1. Thanks none of those solutions help, mainly because Paint.NET no longer appears in my list of installed programs. It seems to be half way. Thanks and goodbye to Paint.Net - not trying to be nasty here but there is no way I can fix this.
  2. Hi I've had Paint.NET for a while. I decided to update to 3.10 - but it failed to install. Below is a link to a screenshot of the dialog I got. You can assume I have full and complete admin rights on my PC, the reference to 'permissions' has got to be some sort of red-herring. As a result of this error, the installation mostly failed. My ProgramFiles shortcut to Paint.NET is there, so it succeeded in uninstalling my old version but failed to install the new one as the shortcut tries to browse for a missing file.
