Why should OO support PDN ? Aren't clipboard formats standard ?

Something strange: if I copy a selection in Paint.NET, I cannot paste it in OpenOffice - it is not recognised. If I do the same with Paint, it works (OO sees it as Bitmap, Bitmap image, or GDI Metafile). Can this be fixed ? Thanks
