Great, thanks BoltBait. Any plans on adding that feature in a future release Rick?

I'm very new to Paint.Net and really just looking to use it as a means to make .BMPs for programming. It seems Paint.Net automatically saves .BMPs as 24-bit, which is 16 million colors and way more than I need. Does anyone know of a way to change the bit depth to 8-bit or even 4-bit? Thanks
