    I’ve been scanning-in fairly old b&w/color photos(300dpi/jpg) the average size being about 200kb. On adding text & cropping a few in Paint.Net, saving changes etc the size jumped to about 800kb! Can anyone tell me why this has happened – thanks…….Mike
