One program was added about the same time as C2 - not sure if before or after. However, I just removed it, powered down and rebooted. No joy - still doesn't "Open" C:\drv files, but will if they are moved to D:\.
I have read in the forum that there is a .LOG file to capture events (& errors). I haven't found it - please ID it for me.
When I d/l'd 2.6 C1 I used the mirror with the .NET 2.0. In d/ling 2.6 C2 I didn't use that .NET 2.0 combo. Do you think that may have something to do with this? Should I d/l the whole thing again? How about my cleaning house and starting fresh (takes time to clean registry).
BTW: It wouldn't hurt to mention in the pre-D/L area if a old version removal is required... not finding any info I assumed (read "hoped") that it would write over, etc. an existing version.
