  1. Ah, I see what you mean. I was able to open the MSI using ORCA and adjust the property there. That seems to do the trick. Thanks!
  2. That's the page I'm comparing to. Yes, I have the MSI, not the exe. So, the desktopshortcut=0 switch is only valid for the .exe version, not the MSI?
  3. Saw that I had a typo above. I know that msiexec /i "paint.net.5.0.12.winmsi.x64.msi" /q works, but it creates the desktop icon, which I was looking to avoid.
  4. How do I deploy the Paint.net 5.0.12 MSI so that it doesn't install a desktop shortcut? I know you used to extract the MSI from the exe and could specify the desktopshortcut=0 at that time, but from what I've read you can't extra the MSI from the exe since version 4.33. eg) msiexec paint.net.5.0.12.winmsi.x64.msi /q /desktopshortcut=0 does not work.
