I have only started using paint.net in the last 6mths. Love the program but my laptop is only now starting to run very slow and continual messages saying not responding and over heating unless I have a cooling fan on. Not just this program but Google and others if I have them open at the same time. I have an older laptop but it has top specs and has never had an issue with running slow before. No issues if I don't have paint.net open. And no issues if I run my Vectorworks drawing program which is huge in comparison.
I have defragged and done a few other things (I'm not an expert) but nothing has helped.
It is now starting to affect my working time.
Please help.
