Thanks Pixey, I will try to work through this today. I am familiar with many of the functions but the simple Ctrl C from one image and hope over the another and Ctrl E didn't work like in Paint Shop Pro - some of the other replies seem to imply that Ctrl C and then hope over and Ctrl V replace the Ctrl C and Ctrl E in Photo Shop as it adds another layer though. Thanks

Using Paint.net 5.0 How do I selection a portion of and image using either magic wand ot selection laso and paste it into another image? Example: I want to cut out a picture of a car from a photo amd paste that picture into another image. Simple but it's not in Paint.Net it seems. Thanks in advance for a simple way to do this.
