  1. Thanks, Null54, I got it to work. But still no sign of the program paint.net on the C drive in Program Files. Do you know where it is located?
  2. Hello, I am totally new to paint.net and this forum, but I came across Shapemaker by searching for shape making programs for my artwork. I have paid for and downloaded paint.net from the Microsoft store to two laptops currently, one older HP running Windows 10 and a new Samsung Evo i7 running Windows 11. The program opens (paint.net 4.3.12) and seems to run OK on both computers and shows up in the list of installed programs. I then also downloaded the Shapemaker folder and found the .dll file and the two PDF files. In the ShapeMaker QuickStart file it says to install the plugin by copying the *.dll and two *.pdf files into my paint.net/Effects/ folder. The problem is that searching the C drive of both computers, I can't find any paint.net folders or files except for some ones embedded in long filenames in Appdata\Local\Packages folders and the folder called paint.net only has a folder in it called Optimization with one file in it. No sign of a program file anywhere, or the paint.net/Effects folder. I have gone into File Explorer and told it to let me see the hidden folders already as well. So any help in locating it and getting ShapeMaker to work is much appreciated, I would really like to try out ShapeMaker for my artistic purposes.
