Steve in Utah

I'm trying to wean myself off Photoshop Elements, but there is one helpful thing I can't figure out how to do in paint.net. Can I open a new paint.net document with the contents from my clipboard? I know I can save it and then open that file, but I like being able to skip that step. Thanks in advance for any advice!
